Megs Garden 1

Megs Garden Layout
By Sue Smyth

Today I have a sweet fairy layout for you. As with all fairies, they get tired
of having their photo taken and at the end tend to pout. That is exactly
what my daughter is doing here!!

My handy hint for this one is fussy cut out the birds, then cover the hole
with more fussy cut elements or lace/ruffle. Then you can place
the birds where ever you want them.

Also to do the ombre coloured trim, just wet tattered net trim.
Spray mist onto an acetate or craft sheet, and dip the
wet trim into the fluid.
The wet trim will wick up the colour, then dry off with
a heat gun gently.

To make a neat nest, twirl some dodo vine in a circle, tuck a circle
of fibres inside and glue together, add some large pearls, and
alter them with a few copics to resemble eggs.

Here I have added an acetate butterfly, celtic knot and an altered
flower.

To alter this sweet blue bird, paint with gesso allow to dry.
Spritz with turquoise glimmer mist, and dry with a heat gun.
Then coat with Dimensional magic for a glossy cloisonne look.

To add more detail I have used Liquid pearls to accent the
linear elements on the page. I have also flicked some
turquoise glimmer mist across the page and topped
with crystaline stickles.
