Simply Cards

Here are several things I recently had published in Australian Simply Cards, they are all 3D which you all know I love to do. Some of these I will teach at Stamp and Scrapbook madness as well as some other 3 D work. It is nice to do cute little things for a special person's birthday or event, and really have fun crafting paper, Wish the rain would go away though as it is making paper crafting so hard, the paper is constantly damp and I have to dry it off to work with it...

MORE EXCITING NEWS

I have been doing a lot of pages lately, so here is another I can share with you that I will teach at Stamp and Scrapbook madness. This is a photo I have been wanting to scrap for a long time. It is an old one of the kids when they were young, I love the rosy cheeks and Bella's ringlets, those were the days when they really were cherubs. They almost look like twins but they are not. (15months apart) I have used Kaisers new papers lil primrose, hope to see you there. MORE EXCITING NEWS is that I will be teaching a class at PRINT BLOCKS on February 24th and so pleased to be able to do this, the folks I will be teaching will be retailers and their staff, and as I have spent many years being just that, I hope to be able to teach them lots and leave them inspired about Scrapbooking and papercraft in general. The Paper Craft show is on 17 -19th February, and in my role as Commissioning Editor for Scrapbook Ideas magazine I will be there, not sure the exact days yet, but if you are there check out our stand number 22 and say hello

EXCITING NEWS

Remember I said I was working on some new projects for the new year, well I can tell you now, that I have been appointed the Commissioning Editor for Scrapbooking Ideas Magazine. I am really excited to be starting this new role and look forward to working with some very talented people. Of course it will be a huge learning curve for me, but I will be able to use my years of experience in retail, scrapbooking and graphic design. I hope to keep you informed on how I am going, and still be able to so hands on scrapbooking and papercraft. I will still be doing the Down Under Inspirations Blog as I have been asked to stay on another year. I will be happy to do this as long as I can

sweet smile

I know the year is under way when the first Down Under Inspirations page has to be done. This time I really wanted to use the Grand Calibur peonies die, as I have not used it much, using the mist and scrunch method I made these huge flowers, sprinkled with glitter and I have also added some stamens too. Another neat thing I discovered is how to make paper lace go around corners, I will have to include this in a class so I can share it with everyone.

garden gate

Today I am sharing another page, that I will be teaching at Stamp and Scrapbook Madness, I just love the window that opens to reveal another photo. I also added some blood red roses, made from rose creations. I know I make these all the time, but have not actually taught a class on them at scrapbook madness, so I thought it was about time. eventually I want to make sure I cover all of the different ways to make flowers, but then new ones are being invented all the time. lol. Again I am using the new Kaiser release of papers which I am just loving...cheers sue
